My Nokia N95

June 22nd, 2009

Yes I am sad I am going to chat about my Nokia N95, but only because I love it.

I got the mobile phone about 3 months ago maybe longer, I bought it off my mate for just £50 and paid £15 to get it unlocked from T-mobile after I was all sorted and setup I then Hacked the mobile and started to add my own little extras to it, this made me love it even more.

As the original Nokia N95 case was all scratched I ordered my self a brand new one in black, when it came I changed the cases over and I had a bit of trouble with changing over the mic as it was very hard to get out the old case to place in the new case, I think I damaged it on the transfer but it was working once I was complete, after a number of weeks it has broke so I have to order a new mic and fit it.

I have also ordered other things for it, one being the Nokia N95 Zoom Lens this is really really good and clips to the front of the clear case that goes on the N95 the lens is a 6×18 and you can really look at great detail over a better distance, don’t get me wrong you cant see fervor than without the lens on, but yes well worth the buy.

I use my Nokia N95 as a PDA to keep tabs on everything I need to remember in my notes, also who owes me money and what I others.

Buy one its a must.

I don’t have too much experience of the N95, but the little tinkering with one I loved it. I am currently happy user of the N96. THere isn’t that much difference in the two after all, I think N95 has nicer feel to it and the keyboard is better –> N96 has the mirror-black plastic kb which doesn’t have too good feel.

I think it is too small for more than checking emails and occasionally sending them, but that’s what it is inteded for, not as a pc replacement.

I will be receiding N97 shortly, well as soon as I get my butt up and to ICT people around here.. N96 works well enoguh, so no hurry. A collegue of mine will keep the N95 though. Tells a lot of the phone, doesn’t it? :)

It does tell a lot, also even though I have a little problem, I have always known for Nokia to be very strong phones.

If my phone did ever brake I would get the same or like you the N96 or higher.

    Thanks for the comment
